We are seeking an Analytical Scientist to join our team in a multidisciplinary role that combines the characterisation and analysis of therapeutic glycoproteins, mRNA, and conjugate vaccines.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in applying and developing analytical methods used for the characterisation and manufacturing support of therapeutic proteins, vaccines, and small molecules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of new analytical methods and techniques to support the characterisation and analysis of complex biological molecules.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and expertise in analytical sciences.
* Evaluate and qualify analytical technologies to improve method performance and efficiency.
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements:
* M.Sc. or higher qualification in analytical biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
* 3-5 years' experience in an analytical role in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in biological products and/or vaccines an advantage.
* Technical capability in several major areas of analytical sciences, including UPLC/HPLC (UV, FLR, CAD), MS, GC, spectrophotometry, bioassay, ELISA, FACS, wet chemistry techniques, and capillary electrophoresis.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and present data effectively.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
