The Role
As an Assistant Manager in our Audit Team, you will support the management of a portfolio of clients and assist in the delivery of high-quality audit and business advisory services. The portfolio includes a mix of owner‑managed businesses and subsidiaries of multinational clients.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain positive working relationships with teams and clients.
Support the management and development of audit teams, including coaching and mentoring junior staff.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and completion of audit assignments to ensure delivery of high-quality service.
Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the Audit process and support the Manager/Partner in managing client relationships.
Ensure assignments are completed in line with agreed client deliverables and timelines.
Work closely with Managers and Partners in the ongoing development of services provided to the client portfolio.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Tax, Corporate Finance) to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Key Competencies
Qualified Accountant with at least 1-2 years PQE.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and Audit principles.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritise workloads effectively.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
Excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
Proactive approach to client service and problem solving.
Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
