Role Description
We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper (minimum 25 hours per week) to join our on-site team in the Cork Metropolitan Area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organised, and proactive, responsible for managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients while ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role offers hands on experience across all areas of practice accounting, including but not limited to:
* VAT Returns: Preparation and submission in line with Revenue deadlines.
* Payroll Operations: Processing payroll in compliance with statutory requirements.
* Bank Reconciliations: Regular reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
* CRO Compliance: Maintaining company registers and assisting with statutory filings.
* Ad-hoc Financial Support: Assisting with various administrative and accounting tasks as required.
Skills & Requirements
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or a willingness to learn new accounting systems.
* Previous experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or a related finance role.
* Working knowledge of Irish VAT regulations and payroll processes.
