A leading global manufacturer within the HVAC and energy solutions sector is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially driven Key Account Manager to support the continued expansion of its Irish business.

The position is ideal for someone with experience in key account management, business development, technical sales or consultative customer relationship management who enjoys developing long-term partnerships and delivering customer-focused solutions.
While HVAC or air conditioning experience would be beneficial, the business is also open to candidates from other technical, construction, engineering or solution-led industries who can demonstrate strong commercial ability, relationship-building skills and strategic thinking.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with major end-user customers including retail groups, hospitality businesses, residential developers and commercial real estate organisations. The role focuses on understanding customer needs around performance, sustainability, aftersales support and long-term strategy, ensuring tailored solutions are delivered through established contractor networks.
What you’ll be doing as Key Account Manager
Develop and manage relationships with key account customers across retail, hospitality and real estate sectors
* Work closely with developers, consultants and end-user customers to understand future business needs
* Support the development of long-term account strategies and growth opportunities
* Liaise with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
* Monitor market trends, customer requirements and commercial opportunities
* Deliver presentations and represent the business within a wider European network
* Travel across Ireland visiting customers with occasional European travel throughout the year
* Build strong partnerships focused on long-term collaboration and repeat business opportunities
What we’re looking for in a Key Account Manager
* Experience within key account management, business development, technical sales or customer relationship management
* Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially driven with a strategic mindset
* Comfortable building long-term customer relationships
* Ability to understand broader customer requirements beyond simply selling products
* Well organised with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude
* Previous HVAC, air conditioning, engineering or construction industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential
* Full driving licence
