The Role
The team advises on all aspects of Irish and EU competition/antitrust law, including:
* Abuse of Dominance
* Cartels
* Competition aspects of commercial agreements and behaviour
* Competition compliance programmes and training
* Competition litigation, including litigation arising from investigations, disputes with regulators and damages actions
* Complaints to regulators
* Grocery Regulations
* Investigations and dawn raids
* Immunity/Leniency applications
* Merger Control approval for mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures
* State Aid
The Person
* Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Competition law
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A strong interest in maintaining, developing and sharing relevant legal knowledge
* Excellent analytical, technical, and drafting skills
* High level of commercial and business awareness
* Adaptability to navigate dynamic legal landscapes
