Responsibilities:
1. Accurate record keeping and document filing.
2. Managing the Sales & Purchase Ledger.
3. Entering year-end journals.
4. Processing Accounts Payable and Receivable (Invoices, Receipts & Payments).
5. Completing weekly bank reconciliations.
6. Managing debtor collections and queries.
7. Handling queries and credit requests with suppliers.
8. Preparing VAT returns, monthly accruals, and prepayments journal entries.
9. Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
10. Liaising with the management team.
11. Performing related duties as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accounting Technician or working towards a professional accounting qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage (or equivalent software).
