Job Title: Facilities Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Specialist to support our team in maintaining the highest level of service to our occupants.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To ensure that all Helpdesk jobs and PPM tasks are up-to-date and accurately recorded, ensuring compliance with reporting systems and monitoring responsibilities.
2. To contribute as a key member of the Facilities Team, working closely with colleagues across multiple sites to achieve common goals.
3. To participate in site-wide energy initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
4. To support the promotion of Energy Awareness and Sustainability, working collaboratively with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
5. To manage sub-contractors and specialist visiting engineers, ensuring high-quality service delivery while minimizing costs.
6. To assist with asset management, including adding new assets to the F2 Helpdesk/Asset database system and setting up PPM schedules in accordance with guidelines.
7. To support the operation and maintenance of building services, ensuring compliance with job specifications and PPM schedules.
8. To work collaboratively with the Facilities/Bio-Medical team to deliver high-quality service, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
9. To conduct scheduled audits on sub-contractor performance, ensuring value-for-money and quality service delivery.
10. To promote a Health and Safety environment and culture throughout designated plantrooms.
