You will drive service attachment rates for Startups while building revenue through paid services for SMB and Commercial segments, helping customers accelerate their growth and adoption on our platform.What you'll doAs part of this role, you'll ensure customers in the SMB and Commercial segments are equipped with the right Professional Services to thrive on Stripe. You will spend a significant portion of your time engaging with users to understand their needs, and scoping appropriate services. A key part of the role is collaborating with Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions and align implementation offerings with user goals. While selling services is important, the primary success metric is the growth of Stripe product revenue.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate user needs and recommend the most appropriate service offering to ensure their success on Stripe (free or paid)Drive Professional Services attach for SMB and Commercial users, ensuring they receive appropriate implementation and integration supportCollaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth user handoffs and appropriate service offeringsScope projects accurately to ensure alignment between customer needs and our delivery capabilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with the Sales team for effective service alignmentSupport user success by focusing on increasing Stripe product activationsScope projects accurately to ensure alignment between customer needs and our delivery capabilitiesGenerate Professional Services revenue through selling packaged offeringsNegotiate service contracts and statements of work for paid engagementsMonitor customer success metrics across all segments to demonstrate ROIHelp shape the evolution of our service offerings based on market needs and feedbackWho you areWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum Requirements2+ years of customer facing experience at a leading technology or payments company and a track record of top performance.Experience in pre-sales and sales, as well as in contract and Statement of Work (SOW) development.Ability to understand technical requirements and match them to appropriate service offeringsStrong judgment in determining which service offering best suits different user segmentsExperience qualifying opportunities and identifying upsell potentialStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiencesExperience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and delivery teamsAbility to build strong relationships across different customer segmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience selling technical implementation services in the payments or fintech industryKnowledge of Stripe's product suite and implementation requirementsBackground in solution selling with a focus on customer outcomesUnderstanding of API-based integrations and technical implementation challengesExperience in a high-growth technology companyFamiliarity with common e-commerce platforms and payment systemsTrack record of balancing free service attachment goals with revenue generation targets(EMEA) Proficiency in French or German is a plus.In-office expectationsOffice-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.Pay and benefitsThe annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €62,900 - €94,300. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant's location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
