Procurement Sourcing Specialist
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Category Administrator to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and optimising sourcing operations for the IT Category Team within our Strategic Sourcing function, ensuring that processes are deployed to meet team objectives and that tasks are completed to support the effective operations of the IT Category Team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing Project Management: Ensure proper assignment of category managers to sourcing projects. Create and maintain project records in relevant systems, ensuring accurate and timely project tracking.
2. Supplier Evaluation and Risk Assessment: Support the team in evaluating and understanding potential supplier risks through pre-qualification and due diligence processes.
3. Contract Record Management: Assist in maintaining accurate contract data and resolving queries within relevant procurement systems to ensure documentation is up-to-date.
4. Supplier Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate supplier records in consultation with responsible Category Managers, including spend, compliance, and product information.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Able to learn quickly, seeks feedback, and asks insightful questions.
* Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid environment.
* Familiarity with the role of procurement within an organisation.
