ResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Administrator will provide accounts administrative support for the effective and efficient running of Ennis Road Care Facility.General dutiesIncluding but not limited to the following:Purchasing and ordering for Ennis Road Care Facility LtdAccounts Payable for Ennis Road Care Facility Ltd- including approval, processing, payment and filingAccounts receivable for Residents & Sponsors(HSE) of Ennis Road Care Facilityincluding services, payments, reconciliations, meeting with families, setting up DD, credit collection.Account receivable: Ennis Road Care Facility Ltd.Payroll - TimepointCover for reception as requested (Annual Leave Cover/Lunch Cover/Sickness Cover)To attend meetings as directed by senior management, take minutes and keep notesTo prepare and assist in the collection of data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports as may be required.To undertake ongoing training and professional development, appropriate to the effective and timely discharge of the duties of the postTo perform such other duties, appropriate to the role, as may be required.Financial DutiesTo assist and maintain full and accurate financial records of all transactions of residents and on behalf of Ennis Road Care Facility. This could include preparing and processing payroll.To ensure that effective management and accountability processes are in place for the centre and management of the authorised budget.PERSON SPECIFICATIONThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the necessary administrative, technical skills, experience and competence to immediately add value to the work of the company, team and residents and to ensure the timely delivery of delegated tasks and quality services under general supervision only. The appointee will:Be results oriented and resident-focusedBe able to provide examples of having worked on their own initiative and in teams in the pastBe capable of exercising a high degree of delegated responsibilityHave good organisational and technical skills relevant to the role with the ability to problem solve, pay attention to detail and deliver work to a high standard and to tight deadlinesEssential Education Qualifications, Attainments and ExperienceGood general level of educationHave a high degree of computer literacy – to include competence in the following Microsoft applications – word processing, spreadsheets, databases, file management, e-mail and the internet, Collsoft, Epic Care, QuickbooksExcellent numeracy skills with knowledge and skills in the preparation and maintenance of proper financial records and banking procedures and reporting on same.Desirable Skills, Abilities and ExperiencePrior experience and/or ability to carry out payroll functions including PAYE/PRSI returns and a knowledge of payroll softwareKnowledge of operation of IT networksAbility to facilitate and support the work of team membersSalary: Depending on experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: From €17.00 per hourExpected hours: 32 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingEducation:Leaving Certificate (preferred)Experience:Accounting: 2 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:ACA (preferred)Work Location: In person
