Advanced Clinical Practice in Psychotherapy
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR or other modalities) to individuals with complex mental health needs, including autonomous assessment, formulation, intervention, and outcome evaluation.
Lead or contribute to service development, change management, and implementation of psychotherapy or mental health initiatives, impacting access to care, service quality, and delivery.
Apply clinical governance in psychotherapy practice, including supervision, risk management, audit, and quality improvement initiatives in line with national policy, NMBI standards, and local PPPGs.
