Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in a field-based role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working on varied equipment across multiple sites.
* Install, maintain, and service plant equipment including pumps, oil burners, dosing systems, and pipework.
* Support new project installations and equipment upgrades.
* Conduct inspections, audits, and routine maintenance across customer and company sites.
* Maintain accurate service records and adhere to health and safety standards.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:
* Qualified mechanical fitter or equivalent experience (e.g., MAMF, FS, City & Guilds).
* Hands-on experience with pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and general mechanical maintenance.
* Welding, drilling, and grinding skills are a plus.
* Strong initiative, communication skills, and a full clean driving licence are essential.
* Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed.
