Jack and Jill are looking for an Individual Giving Manager to join our team in Johnstown, Co Kildare. (Hybrid role)If you are strategic, motivated, and passionate about inspiring generosity, we'd love to hear from youWe are a small but mighty team that absolutely put the FUN into Fundraising and we are looking for someone who shares that same energy. If that sounds like something you are interested, keep readingSome of the key responsibilities include;Oversee and develop the delivery of existing individual giving strategy (acquisition, retention, upgrading, regular giving, legacy, major donor pipeline from individuals) aligned to the overall fundraising strategyProduce annual plans, budgets, KPIs and forecasts for the individual giving portfolio.Monitor performance against targets, analyse results, interpret trends and make recommendations for improvement.Identify new revenue opportunities, channels and growth areas (e.g., digital, regular giving, tax efficient giving, legacy) and pilot/test accordinglyDesign and execute donor acquisition campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, digital, door-to-door) to build the donor base.Develop and manage retention/upgrading strategies (regular giving, donor journeys, segmentation) to maximise donor lifetime value.Ensure excellent donor care — thank yous, communications, reporting impact, segmented appropriate donor journeysCollaborating with Communications department on the implementation of Individual Giving campaigns — from planning, interviewing, copy & design overview, supplier management (printers, agencies, fulfilment, etc) through to delivery and post‐campaign review.Manage budgets, income/expenditure, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI of campaigns.Maintain strong data systems and CRM usage to support segmentation, performance measurement, donor journey mapping, and compliance (GDPR, data protection).Use data analytics to drive insights, refine campaigns, improve targeting, and support decision-making.Ensure database integrity, donor records, tax giving & reportingKeep abreast of developments in individual giving trends across the sector and be aware of current market and economic factors influencing donor activities.Ensure transparency in all Jack and Jill fundraising activities.Provide regular updates to the Head of Fundraising detailing progress against plans and objectives.Work closely with the Communications team to optimise communications, social media activity, fundraising campaigns and events.Support the wider Fundraising team where neededSkill and Experience Required:3rd level qualification preferably in communications, marketing or related areasProven experience in a similar fundraising role within the Irish charity/NGO sector (ideally with a focus on individual giving)Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious fundraising targets.Expertise in direct marketing, donor engagement, and digital fundraising.Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative and empowering approach.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.Strategic thinker with operational expertise and a passion for humanitarian work.Experience of liaising with and managing high level supporters with a solid understanding of the principles of excellent donor/customer care.Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.Proven project, event planning and management skillsFlexibility, innovation, initiative, and a growth mind-setStrong computer skills to include MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience in the use of one or more CRM/Database system.Thorough understanding of the fundraising and non-profit landscape in Ireland.Excellent attention to detail, communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills.Experience of adhering to GDPR legislation.Flexibility to travel and perform occasional evening and weekend workFull clean driving licence and full-time access to a car.What makes Jack and Jill a great place to work?We offer a hybrid working model with flexible working arrangementsEnhanced private pension schemeEnhanced annual leave entitlementsEnhanced sick pay schemeAfter one years continuous service, we offer paid health insurance, PHI (long term absence), maternity and adoptive leave and death in service.Employee Assistance ProgrammeAccess to training and development opportunitiesBike to Work schemeThis is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, hardworking and vibrant fundraising team and to make a real difference to the lives of families with very sick childrenJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to €1.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeWork Location: Hybrid remote in Johnstown Manor, Johnstown, CO.
