Finance Continuous Improvement Lead
Our client a leading educational body are seeking a Finance Continuous Improvement Lead to drive operational excellence within the Finance Office. This role will focus on analysing and optimising business processes, implementing Lean methodologies, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing inefficiencies, improving service quality, and ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate current finance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
* Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to streamline workflows and eliminate complexity.
* Lead post-implementation reviews, ensuring successful project delivery and outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate workshops and deliver improvement initiatives.
* Partner with Finance Technology teams to design and enhance financial systems.
* Ensure business impact and project objectives are tracked, managed, and achieved.
* Promote and embed a continuous improvement culture through frameworks, training, and capability building.
* Support audit readiness, compliance, and risk management in financial operations.
About You
* Proven expertise in process improvement, with Lean Six Sigma experience.
* Strong knowledge of financial operations in a complex organisation, including internal controls, audit, and compliance.
* Familiarity with taxation regulations relevant to finance operations (VAT, RCT).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
* Experience leading teams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Salary - €70,000 -€80,000 plus benefits
