We are seeking a highly capable Part-Time Accountant to join our sister company, 3D Specialist Contracting Limited, a subcontracting business operating across various sites throughout Ireland.
This is an in-house position, leading the finance function within this part of the business.
The role is part-time, working five mornings per week, and the successful candidate will work closely with the company directors and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities * Preparation and review of year-end financial statements * Monthly management accounts * Weekly payroll processing (approx. 18 employees) * Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable * Credit control * Bank and payment provider reconciliations * Data entry on accounting packages * Cost analysis * VAT * Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) * Office administration Candidate Requirements Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate: * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with 3-4 years' experience, ideally within the construction sector * Strong understanding of VAT, RCT, and Payroll taxes * Practical experience with Sage 50 and Micropay (or similar software) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Flexible approach and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision * Ambitious, hardworking, and driven to achieve at a high level Additional Information Ref: VAC-***** How to Apply Please send your full and up-to-date CV, along with a cover note or email, to our Multi-Sector Team to apply for this role.
