Senior Investment Analyst
Our client is looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to join our Investment Team and play a pivotal role in shaping portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and manager selection. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong macroeconomic expertise with hands-on experience in fund and manager research and who can turn complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
The role:
* Lead the evaluation and selection of funds and managers across multiple asset classes.
* Align fund strategies with macroeconomic views and portfolio objectives.
* Perform qualitative and quantitative due diligence, including performance, risk, and style analysis.
* Produce in-depth research reports and recommendations for the Investment Committee.
* Develop and maintain forward-looking macroeconomic views and scenario analyses.
* Translate economic trends into actionable investment strategies.
* Contribute to strategic asset allocation through regular outlook reports and insights.
* Deliver high-quality reports and presentations on macro trends and fund research.
* Communicate complex ideas in a clear, engaging way to clients and internal teams.
* Support client engagement and business development through thought leadership.
* Contribute to portfolio construction and rebalancing decisions.
* Analyse performance attribution with a focus on macro and manager contributions.
* Assist in portfolio restructures, ensuring alignment with economic and market views.
* Ensure recommendations meet governance and regulatory standards.
* Work closely with asset allocation, risk, and client advisory teams.
* Represent the CIO Office in committees and client meetings as a senior research voice.
Requirements:
* Degree or Master's in Economics, Financial Economics, Finance, or similar.
* 3+ years' experience in investment analysis, economics, or fund research.
* Expertise in fund/manager research, macroeconomic forecasting, and asset allocation.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in performance attribution and risk analysis.
* Professional qualifications (CFA/CAIA or progress) are highly advantageous.
* Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar, eVestment, or FactSet preferred.
* Exceptional communication skills, able to turn data into compelling narratives.
* Strategic thinker with global economic insight and a passion for investment research.
