We offer competitive salaries, financial support for further training, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) leading to chartered status, performance incentives and the ability to progress your career with a world class engineering contractor.Role/RequirementsDeveloping and managing the Design Delivery Schedule for all Electrical works along with the Design & Engineering Managers, Manufacturing Project Manager, multi-discipline design team and Clients.Undertaking Design development from basis of design for ClientsUndertaking design assist scopes of work in parallel with Clients and their appointed AE/EoR'sManage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are consideredControl the Electrical design process from start to finishConduct regular meetings with the production team and ensure all technical issues are addressed immediatelyManage and coordinate external consultantsLiaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design worksAssist Project Manager in incorporating all internal and external design and cost issues onto a scheduleManage the distribution and production of project workload within the project team and design consultant team.Third Level Qualification in Electrical Engineering/Design essentialMinimum of 5 years' experience in similar role desirableKnowledge of Services coordination, SLD's and Design Schematics requiredHave keen attention to detail and production of quality General arrangement layout drawings.Proven ability to problem solve and resolve coordination issuesKnowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office essentialExcellent communication and organisation skills essentialSalary will be in line with qualifications and experienceBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
