Process Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at the Waterford facility.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary technical expert for high-volume, automated manufacturing equipment.
* Provide daily operational support through the diagnosis and resolution of production line issues.
* Utilize a data-driven methodology to pinpoint key areas for improvement and lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing equipment uptime, product yield, and cycle times.
* Organize, manage, and optimize planned maintenance and calibration schedules.
* Conduct thorough assessments of machinery to identify and procure necessary spare parts.
* Support site-level strategic initiatives and projects related to production capacity expansion.
* Deliver technical training to operations and maintenance personnel as required.
* Act as a role model for strong safety and quality practices.
* Take ownership of, track, and report on safety, quality, and operational action items.
* Develop clear work instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Author and execute process and equipment engineering studies and protocols.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
* Master of Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
* Demonstrated success in optimizing highly automated production lines within a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Lean/Six Sigma and/or project management certification is desirable.
