Our client, a large and commercially significant organisation with substantial revenues, complex operations, and an extensive group structure, is seeking to appoint a Group Tax Manager. The business operates at scale and maintains a diverse portfolio of assets, requiring strong governance, oversight, and strategic tax leadership. This role carries full responsibility for the Group's tax strategy, governance framework, and compliance oversight. The successful candidate will operate at senior leadership level, advising executive stakeholders and ensuring robust tax risk management across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:Lead and implement the Group's tax strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory developments. Provide strategic tax advice to senior executives and the Board on transactions, financing, restructuring, and commercial initiatives. Oversee all corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations across relevant jurisdictions, maintaining strong governance standards. Design and maintain an effective tax control framework, identifying and managing risk exposures. Lead, develop, and manage the corporate tax function while maintaining relationships with tax authorities and external advisors. Key Requirements:Professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience. Demonstrated corporate tax leadership experience within a large organisation or professional services environment. Strong technical expertise in Irish corporate tax, with working knowledge of UK and international tax frameworks. Proven experience advising on complex transactions and implementing tax governance structures. Ability to engage confidently at executive and board level, with strong judgement and communication capability.
