What You'll Do:
- Support engineers in deploying the client's Mobile Services, tackling challenges related to scalability, reliability and performance.
- Administer and automate systems to ensure reliability, resiliency, and security across our cloud services.
- Monitor and debug issues across mobile services, providing technical resolutions and root cause analysis for high-severity incidents.
- Collaborate with Software R&D teams to design and operate automated, resilient components and services.
- Develop and deliver timely reports on service metrics like availability, capacity and performance.
- Continuously enhance System Engineering operations by automating routine tasks and documenting new procedures.
- Manage and nurture a diverse team of System Engineering experts, fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Work closely with management and recruitment staff to expand the team through interviews and onboarding.
What We Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Telecommunications or equivalent experience, with at least 3+ years in an Internet distributed Systems Engineer or SRE role.
- 5+ years of team leadership/coordination experience.
- Deep expertise in managing Linux-based environments.
- Familiarity with network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, WAN routing).
- Strong understanding of incident, change and problem management.
- A systematic problem-solving approach and excellent communication skills.
