Senior Project Engineer We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to work on engineering projects in the construction, commissioning and handover stages of project work in a well established engineering organisation. Responsibilities: Work closely with the Project Managers on project deliverables Manage the procurement process to maintain project schedules Manage sub-contractors Prepare H&S documentation including construction stage H&S documents Complete document control, recording, drawings to subcontractors using the document control systems Assist with progress report updates to client Liaise with site delivery teams and design teams to close out design queries Complete site surveying and setting out Complete site quality assurance checks Compile Operations and Maintenance manuals and safety files for handover to client KEY EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Must hold a Civil Engineering degree or other relevant third level qualification Experience of working on civil projects essential Previous experience of working with a design and build contractor highly desirable Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Strong attention to detail required Strong understanding and knowledge of H&S Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
