We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team here at Novelplast Teoranta. The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the timely, accurate and safe unloading and storage of raw material and despatch of finished product.
Key functions of this role include but are not limited to the following:
· Unload containers in a time efficient and safe manner
· Ensure accurate scanning of all incoming and outgoing goods
· Ensure raw materials are stored in accurate locations
· Ensure there is a constant supply of material into production
· Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed and records are promptly updated
· Escalate any concerns with the quality of raw materials upon receipt to the plant
· Operate Counterbalance Forklift and clamp trucks in a safe manner
· Complete periodic safety checks on warehouse equipment, including FLT, scales and scanners
· Ensure effective communications between production and warehouse personnel
· Maintain high levels of housekeeping in the warehouse area
· Collect and store scrap, waste and broken pallets in allocated areas
· Keep waste compound in yard clean and tidy
· Carry out any other activities requested by the Warehouse Team Lead
Experience:
* 2 years' experience in a warehouse operative role, ideally in a manufacturing or processing environment.
* Forklift license a distinct advantage.
