Job Title: Engineering Document Controller
Kenny-Whelan & Associates are hiring an Engineering Document Controller to work on site at one of our Client's Global Life Science Companies in Cork.
Profile of the Role:
* The Engineering Document Controller will join the Engineering Projects Team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support the Engineering Team by administering and updating Project reports, related documentation, and other ad-hoc reports as required, to ensure accurate and timely review and communication of information within and outside the Engineering team.
* Document Processing, management, planning, change management.
* Manage all Vendor Documents.
* Perform spend checks on each project.
* Evaluate and maintain compliance with procedures for removal of documentation from the Engineering Documentation Control Centre.
* Track and provide metrics to management on the status of project related documents.
* Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
* Control and maintenance of the Engineering Documentation Control Centre.
* Control, issuance and archiving of Project & Site Drawings.
* Control and issuance of the numbering system for Commissioning & Restart Documents.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Projects Manager/Engineering Team, in relation to Engineering Document Control.
Key Attributes:
* Minimum 5 years, working in the Pharmaceutical industry or multi-national environment.
* Proficient on Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Word/PowerPoint etc.
* Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) is essential.
* Proven Time Management skills with the ability to prioritise and remain focused and to work independently.
* Able to manage conflicting responsibilities and anticipate key deadlines and requirements.
* Proven ability to develop effective working relationships.
Education:
* Relevant 3rd level Diploma/Degree.
* Technical Qualification desirable (to understand drawings, technical documentation).
* Project management or similar qualification.
