Researcher in Climate Change and Sustainable Development
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated individual to contribute to two projects exploring the human and societal aspects of climate change.
The primary focus of this role will be research, however a particular emphasis during this stage should include:
* To conduct a specified programme of research under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator/Project Leader.
* To engage in appropriate training and professional development opportunities as required by the Principal Investigator, School or College in order to develop research skills and competencies.
* To gain experience in grant writing.
* To engage in the dissemination of the results of the research in which they are engaged, as directed by, with the support of and under the supervision of a Principal Investigator.
* To become familiar with the publication process.
* To acquire generic and transferable skills (including project management, business skills and postgraduate mentoring/supervision).
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, with strong community research and qualitative analytical skills, and a background in climate and/or energy transition multidisciplinary research.
Candidates should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with other team members. Furthermore, they should have fluent English and excellent writing, project management, communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of €45,847 – €52,339 per annum, as well as access to additional benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, temporary position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the research team and contribute to the achievement of project goals.
