We are currently recruiting for Head Chef/Chef Managerto lead, manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operation, maintaining high standards of food and service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Chef to run a food service in one of Ireland's leading luxury nursing homes.

* Menu design, creative food preparation and running fine dining events
* Ensure that the highest standard of food quality, Nutrition, presentation and service are achieved and maintained at all times
* Ensure regular monitoring of menus for variety and cost and to provide innovative ideas for menu planning
* Tailoring recipes and menus for modified Diets
* The performance of any reasonable task which assists with the efficient operation of the unit
* Purchasing and ordering stock and food
Desired Skills:
* A passion for service and quality
* Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
* Responsibility of stock management
* Professionalism and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business
* Hands-on operator with the ability to lead by example through operational excellence
* An excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP
Qualification / Experience:
* Food Production / Culinary Arts and / or operational experience in: Working in a Nursing Home or Healthcare Environment is preferable
