Veritas Search are delighted to be working with a renowned mid-tier Irish Law firm on their recruitment of an experienced Legal Executive/Secretary to work in their Debt Recovery department as the dedicated support to a fantastic Partner.
This role would suit someone with strong knowledge of debt recovery processes and at least 2 years experience within a legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client and File Management – opening & progressing files, updating clients, query resolution etc
* Document Review, Proof-reading files for accuracy, procedural updates
* Diary Management
* CRM System – ensuring records are accurate, up to date and progress reports are maintained
* Attend court and be present for hearings, settlement agreements etc
* Liaison with barristers and schedule meetings etc.
* Other ad hoc duties
The Person:
* At least 2 years experience in a law firm
* Preferably a "career" legal executive or ambitious secretary
* Strong knowledge of debt recovery procedures
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills – some cases are sensitive in nature and require a light touch
