****Admissions Administrator**Bon Secours Hospital Limerick are pleased to invite applications for the position of Admissions Administrator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the booking & admission of a scheduled patient is a seamless experience for the patient, the hospital and the Consultant and reflective of an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
**Post:** Full-time, permanent position x 1/ 12 Month Fixed Term Contract x 1**Hours of work:** 35 hours per week, flexibility around working days and times is an inherent part of this role.
**Remuneration: Grade 111 Clerical Scale** €31,618 - €48,927 dependent on relevant experience.The position would suit a self-motivated person with an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
You must have a good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible, hard-working and efficient.
Attention to detail is paramount in this role.
**Eligibility Criteria:*** Leaving Certificate or equivalent* Have a minimum 2 years' experience in an administration function* Previous secretarial / administrative experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous* Previous Cash Handling experience* Must be customer service orientated and maintain professional communication with patients, visitors and staff* Possess the interpersonal skills to facilitate working effectively in a team ensuring strong relationship building and the ability to achieve department goals and objectives* Ability to multitask within a team environment* Previous experience using Patient Management Systems is desirable* A good working general knowledge of private health insurance claims and billing is desirable* To practice within and support the Bon Secours Mission and Values, policies, procedures, guidelines and new initiatives as directed / introduced by the hospital**To Apply:** Please submit your CV via workday by the 28th May ******Panel:** a panel may be formed from which future vacancies will be filled.
