Business Operations Leadership & Platform Design Lead and manage a small, high performing operations team responsible for quarterly business performance reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and consistency across internal and external reporting.
Design, implement and continuously enhance the operating model for Decarbonization Partners, covering fund, portfolio and management company processes.
Partner closely with Business Operations, Finance, Technology and Legal & Compliance teams to ensure alignment with firm wide standards and regulatory requirements.
Fund & Portfolio Operations Oversee end to end fund operations in partnership with fund administrators, including capital account maintenance, waterfalls, fee calculations, financial reporting and audit support.
Act as a senior resource for investment operations team members, providing guidance and expertise on performance concepts, fund operations and best practices.
Work with the investment team to streamline and enhance deal execution workflows.
Handle a range of internal and external client inquiries and requests related to performance and fund reporting.
Change, Transformation & Technology Enablement Lead and prioritise change initiatives to scale the platform, including the launch of new funds, vehicles, geographies and product structures.
Identify, adapt and implement best practices from across Business Operations and Global Investment Operations functions.
Champion the use of technology and data to enhance operational efficiency, automation, control and reporting across the platform.
The successful candidate will be: A Qualified accountant with a Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experienced in the asset management or private markets industry, with broad exposure to investment management, risk management, operations, finance and compliance.
A strong technical accountant, including detailed knowledge of IFRS.
Proven ability to interpret financial models and large volumes of contractual and transaction data.
Track record of building and leading teams to support complex operational processes.
