Job Summary
The ideal candidate will oversee support operations, ensuring equipment is qualified and maintained according to regulatory requirements. This role involves managing the lifecycle activities of QC equipment, providing direction to teams, and collaborating with partner groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain oversight of procurement, installation, qualification, maintenance, and decommissioning activities for QC equipment.
* Provide guidance to team members on equipment-related tasks and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams to establish equipment validation and qualification processes.
Leadership and Team Management
* Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
* Manage Quality agreements and SLAs with contract labs, verifying their compliance with site Manufacturing licenses and global procedures.
* Perform personnel management functions, including time sheet submissions, scheduling of vacations, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
* 8+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, logical troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a detailed understanding of equipment qualification and maintenance activities and industry compliance norms.
