Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high-performing Product Security team supporting multiple products.
* Reduce security risks by embedding secure-by-design principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability management across the product lifecycle.
* Align product security efforts with enterprise cybersecurity strategy, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
* Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, IT, and Engineering teams to integrate security from design through post-market.
* Conduct security risk assessments, design reviews, and code reviews; guide remediation efforts.
* Implement and oversee medical device security practices (encryption, authentication, patching, logging, vulnerability monitoring).
* Track, report, and improve product security posture using metrics and benchmarks.
* Support incident and vulnerability management, documentation, and compliance with quality systems.
Qualifications
* BS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years' experience in IT security architecture, secure software development, and systems design.
* Proven team leadership experience.
* Strong knowledge of encryption/PKI, embedded device security, networking, and common threats.
* Experience with static/dynamic code analysis tools and regulated environments.
* Excellent communication skills and strong attention to quality and results.
