Finance Manager, Wexford
A PLC-owned group is hiring a Finance Manager to join its senior team. Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the wider senior management team, this is a broad role involving month-end, group reporting, commercial finance and team leadership.
Main duties
Prepare and present the monthly management accounts pack (day 4) and divisional reporting pack to Group Finance (day 6)
Lead Accounts Disclosure Pack (ADP) preparation for HY and FY Group reporting
Own the budget and forecast model, including upload to Dynamics 365
Build out a detailed site costing system alongside the FD
Develop a customer pricing model, report margin by customer and review pricing
Produce daily and weekly value‑add management reporting
Lead, develop and engage a finance team of five
Own balance sheet accounts and reconciliations
Drive PLC compliance — Group policy, internal/external audit, tax, statutory
Identify and implement cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives
Prepare statutory financial statements with Group Finance
Drive continuous process improvement across the finance function
The person
Qualified accountant with industry experience in a group or PLC environment
Strong people management and leadership credentials
Confident communicator who builds relationships across the business
Comfortable being hands‑on and detail-focused
Advanced Excel; Dynamics 365 an advantage
Salary
€70k - €75k plus benefits. Hybrid working available.
