Overview
Account Manager, DACH - EMEA at Vanta. This role is based in Dublin with an office-centric hybrid schedule (in-office days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). The goal is to expand and retain a subset of Vanta’s customers by developing strong relationships and serving as the primary post-sale contact for commercial conversations, including mid-cycle upsells and renewals.
Vanta’s mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust by monitoring and verifying security continuously. Vanta aims to align customers’ security and compliance goals with their growth needs through its Trust Management Platform.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
* Develop a deep understanding of Vanta’s current product offerings and learn the product roadmap to speak confidently with customers.
* Maintain strong partnerships with Customer Success Managers to understand customer health and ensure aligned, collaborative communication to accounts.
* Collaborate on account plans that identify new opportunities for expansion within current customers to increase usage of Vanta’s platform (e.g., through new frameworks, security tools, etc.).
* Manage the entire sales cycle for expansion or renewal opportunities from first meeting to close, negotiating as needed and coordinating with solutions consultants or subject matter experts.
* Accurately forecast monthly expansion and churn, and maintain clean Salesforce pipeline hygiene.
* Maintain a customer-centered approach with a consultative stance in architecting solutions.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience selling to and managing German-speaking customers in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, preferably with security or compliance exposure.
* Fluent in German and English, with exceptional verbal and written communication in both languages.
* Must be able to work in the Dublin office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
* Strong ability to prospect and build pipeline without reliance on BDR/inbound support.
* Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, visual) for internal and customer-facing messaging.
* Highly motivated with a sense of urgency and adaptability.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with CS, Marketing, Enablement, Support, and other departments.
* Previous experience in security and compliance is not required but highly desirable.
