We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis, providing specialised care to older adults in a rehabilitation setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address identified disorders.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
Educate and provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and progress reports.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices for older person rehabilitation.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in rehabilitation techniques and strategies for older persons.
Familiarity with common age-related conditions affecting speech and language.
Qualifications
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
Current registration with a relevant professional body, CORU.
Experience working with older adults with communication and swallowing needs (desirable).
Be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or EUFam.
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
