Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Project Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary project engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical and instrumentation aspects of projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget constraints.
The successful candidate will develop electrical schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and control system designs for required systems. They will lead the installation, testing, and validation of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA regulations.
You will provide technical support for existing equipment, identifying and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation, including design specifications, validation protocols, and change control records.
As part of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, automation specialists, and quality assurance teams. You will also coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure project deliverables meet industry standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry
* Proven expertise in chiller and freezer systems, including temperature control, monitoring, and automation
* Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU regulatory requirements
* Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
