Project Manager - Commercial OPW, Limerick
We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Contractor with a presence across Ireland, embarking on a €(phone number removed) OPW project in Limerick. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the project as the number 1 on site, reporting directly to the Contracts Director.
Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage the day-to-day operations of the OPW project, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations, while navigating public-sector procedures and reporting lines.
2. Live Environment & Stakeholder Coordination: Plan and execute construction activities with minimal disruption to the live environment. Liaise with OPW representatives, local authorities, building users, and the Contracts Director to ensure transparent communication and safe phasing.
3. Programme & Resource Management: Develop and maintain the master programme in coordination with the Contracts Director. Track progress of brickwork, steel erection, and trades to meet key milestones, managing labour, plant, and materials on-site.
4. Quality Control & Technical Oversight: Ensure technical standards are met across all trades, especially in complex elements like structural steel connections and brick detailing. Work closely with the design team to resolve technical queries and meet OPW specifications.
5. Risk, Safety & Compliance Leadership: Implement robust HSEQ protocols in line with public-sector standards. Conduct site audits, lead safety briefings, manage risk assessments, and ensure compliance with PSCS and OPW-specific obligations.
Requirements
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Minimum of 10 years experience in Commercial Construction and Curtainwall systems
* 6+ years experience in a similar role
