We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated Bar Supervisor.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To Supervise designated Bar ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, control, and maintaining high standard within the Bar team at all times.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure that the Department operates in a guest focused manner; always striving to exceed guest expectations thereby building customer and brand loyalty.
* To be fully aware of the hotel facilities, activities and promotions, special activities within the hotel
* To deal with customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with company procedures. All the complaints have to be reported to the management.
* To ensure customers needs are anticipated and satisfied to the high standards
* To ensure all customer accounts are settled in full in an accurate and timely manner
* To report on duty on time in accordance with hotel grooming policy
* To communicate roster information
* To motivate staff and develop their ability to anticipate customer needs
* To develop, maintain and implement appropriate recorded training for F&B team. Review training needs & train staff to appropriate levels as per the SOP Department Manual up to and including Responsible Service of Alcohol.
* To develop and maintain a team structure in the Food & Beverage department
* To implement appropriate initiatives to maximise staff morale
* To ensure sale initiatives are carried out
* To be available from Monday to Sunday
* To work in various F&B outlets as required
* To ensure and maintain security of cash, credit cards and floats
* To ensure requisition, storage and security of stock is maintained at all times.
* To ensure beverage supplies for your department are sufficient at all times
* To implement and adhere to stock control procedures in your department
* To ensure all maintenance requirements in your department are handled in accordance with company procedure
* To implement and maintain hygiene standards through our company policy in accordance with Hotel HACCP policy
* To report accidents in accordance with company procedure
* To take part in company internal and external training as require
* To carry out any reasonable requests by Management
* To work as part of a team with management structure

The Successful Candidate :

* Have previous experience in a similar role at 4* Hotel
* Have a friendly and outgoing manner
* Be well-presented and maintain a professional image at all times through appearance
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Have fluent English, both verbal and written
* Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
* Be a team player, flexible
* Have knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
