This role is central to securing reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply of materials such as electrical steel, copper, aluminium, insulation systems, bushings, hardware, and transformer oils. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Procurement to support both current production and future product development.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage sourcing strategies for transformer materials and componentsIdentify, qualify and manage suppliers, monitoring cost, quality and delivery performanceLead commercial negotiations, contracts and cost-reduction initiativesSupport new product introductions and material changes with Engineering and QualityMitigate supply risk through multi-sourcing, capacity planning and market analysisTrack commodity trends and provide data-driven insights on cost and availabilityEnsure compliance with regulatory, quality and sustainability requirementsRequirementsDegree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or similar3–5+ years' sourcing or procurement experience in heavy manufacturing or the electrical industryStrong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management and cost analysisERP experience essential, SAP strongly preferredExcellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working with technical specifications and terminologyWillingness to travel internationallyKey Performance MeasuresCost savings and cost avoidanceSupplier delivery, quality and lead-time performanceSupply continuity and contract complianceSupport of engineering and NPI timelines**We are currently accepting/prioritising applications from candidates who currently reside and are legally eligible to work within the country.**Salary range: €40-€45K.
