Job Description
The Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) team is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to lead all technical, commercial, and regulatory interfaces for a strategically complex and challenging project in the Gas sector. This is a senior coordination and governance role responsible for ensuring seamless integration between the FSRU, marine systems, mooring arrangements, regasification equipment, and onshore gas transmission infrastructure.
The Interface Manager will act as the central point of communication between EPC contractors, FSRU owners/OEMs, port authorities, and government stakeholders, ensuring all interface deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and resolved. The role is critical to protecting project schedule, cost, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
FSRU Interface Governance — Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan, defining responsibilities, communication pathways, and interface control processes.
Technical Integration — Coordinate engineering interfaces between the FSRU, jetty/berth, mooring systems, regasification plant, and onshore gas network.
Commercial & Contractual Control — Manage interface boundaries across EPC, marine, and OEM contracts; identify scope gaps and commercial risks.
Regulatory & Classification Engagement — Liaise with maritime authorities, environmental regulators, and classification societies to ensure compliance with LNG and marine safety standards.
Change, Risk & Issue Management — Lead interface‑related change control and risk mitigation activities.
Stakeholder Coordination — Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, FSRU owners, port authorities, grid operators, and internal project teams.
Schedule & Deliverables Tracking — Monitor interface deliverables and dependencies to protect commissioning and commercial operations milestones.
Reporting & Assurance — Provide structured reporting to senior leadership on interface status, risks, and mitigation actions.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in managing a number of large infrastructure/capital projects in the utilities sector.
Highly organized, proactive with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A self‑motivator and excellent collaboration skills.
Understanding multidisciplinary projects and the importance of interfaces and their complexity.
