Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Sustainability Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in the development and implementation of effective sustainability reporting strategies. This will involve working closely with internal teams to gather data and information, and then using this data to create engaging and informative reports that showcase an organization's sustainability achievements.
As a Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you will have a strong understanding of current sustainability trends and regulatory requirements, including the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). You will also have experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective sustainability reporting strategies for clients;
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and information for reporting purposes;
* Design and create engaging and informative reports that showcase an organization's sustainability achievements;
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current sustainability trends and regulatory requirements;
* Provide training and support to clients on sustainability reporting best practices.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in sustainability reporting or a related field;
* Strong understanding of current sustainability trends and regulatory requirements, including CSRD and ISSB;
* Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI and TCFD;
* Excellent communication and project management skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, business administration, or communications;
* Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent certification is advantageous;
* Adept at operating within a challenging work environment and consistently achieving positive outcomes.
