Role Overview: As Hotel Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the hotel's seamless day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead by example to uphold the highest standards of service, with a primary focus on the Food & Beverage and Rooms Division. Your leadership and proactive approach will drive operational excellence, team development, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and cohesively. Operational Leadership Collaborate closely with department heads to optimise performance, resolve challenges, and implement process improvements. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery across all areas, particularly in Food & Beverage outlets and guest rooms. Guest Experience Monitor guest feedback through various channels, addressing concerns promptly and proactively enhancing the guest experience. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring positive resolutions. Team Development Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Provide on-the-job coaching and support to team members, nurturing their development. Compliance and Standards Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, creating a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Develop, refine, and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service excellence. Representation Act as a professional ambassador of the hotel, building and maintaining strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Experience: A minimum of 2 years in hotel operations management or a similar leadership role. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle pressure. A solid understanding of hotel operations, including Rooms Division and Food & Beverage management.
