Job Overview
As a Senior Contract Manager, you will oversee the pre- and post-contract requirements of our Infrastructure Department's Portfolio, ensuring strict compliance with framework agreements and Work Orders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administering NEC contracts and building a KPI library, as well as knowledge of monitoring Contractor and Consultant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage commercial relationships and ways of working with Contractors and Consultants to drive continuous improvement.
* Review draft contracts, ensuring fit-for-purpose tailoring and coordinating inputs from advisors.
* Lead contractual negotiations and provide guidance to Project and Programme Directors.
* Undertake delay damages calculations as required.
* Establish and review contract management strategies and performance management frameworks.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with:
* 15+ years of experience in contract/cost management and administration, with at least 7 years of NEC experience (10+ years for an intermediate level).
* Significant experience in claims management and performance frameworks.
* Experience developing and implementing individual contract management strategies.
