As a Business Systems Graduate in the Verizon Ireland Global Supply Chain,
Sourcing and Sustainability group, you will contribute efforts on operational
support for the organization and clear application issues.
You will work in a cross-
functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third party partners) to
facilitate and deliver operational resolutions.
You will partner with Global
Technology Services colleagues when additional assistance is needed to resolve
application issues tied to functionality and / or interfacesWhat you'll be doing...As a graduate in the Business Systems and Intelligence (BSAI) team, you will be
working in the various areas within application support, business analytics, systems
& process architecture.
Understanding operational business challenges across Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and SustainabilityCarrying out data analyses, assisting with interpretation and providing data-driven recommendationsProvides consultative insight into business performance, where needed, and suggests areas and methods of improving operations to the business.Implements and oversees analytical approaches and methodologies.Identifying, owning and resolving application fallout errors and driving resolutions to gaps in application functionalityCreating documentation related to upcoming functionality releasesCreating and delivering training to end usersWhat we're looking for...You'll need to have:Graduated with a degree in Business Information Systems, Technology management Business with Computing, or a related disciplineA related co-op or internship experience, with proven project and work experience (a portfolio is helpful)Exposure to enterprise software systems.Strong organizational skillsExperience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office ApplicationsEven better if you have one or more of the following:Exposure, knowledge or proficiency in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP) or related systemsGood team player, well organized and self-starterAbility to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal communication skills with ability to multitaskIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above.
