I am seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of a Contractor for a new project in Wicklow which they have recently commenced work on. The company in question have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned projects. You will be based on a residential project initially, and will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of interesting projects thereafter. The company have a lot of work in the pipeline so this is a permanent, long-term position with the company. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: Providing administrative and technical support the Project Team Maintaining site record such as daily and weekly registers Surveying and setting out using Total Station, GPS Day-to-day supervision of site personnel Promoting and ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects Supervising and managing sub-contractors Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments for construction activities And much more.. To be successful in your application you will possess the following: Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management 1 - 2 years site experience Motivated individual with excellent communication skills, A positive, can do approach, determined to succeed Full clean Irish/European driving license.
