Job Description
The Production Manager will oversee the production personnel to achieve optimal output, minimize downtime, and drive ongoing improvement. This role reports directly to the Managing Director, ensuring timely production schedules and adherence to operational, administrative, health and safety, and business controls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure customer satisfaction by managing quality, service, and safety in offsite structure manufacturing.
* Implement and manage quality systems and standards on site.
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures.
* Recruit, develop, and train production personnel to foster a strong team approach.
* Establish relationships with departments to ensure cohesive delivery of key performance indicators.
* Implement and adhere to manufacturing procedures aligned with customer and regulatory expectations.
* Promote continuous improvement in production and safety.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has experience in general construction and production management, with good knowledge of manufacturing practices and lean principles.
* Manufacturing or construction experience is required.
* Offsite construction experience is an advantage.
* Strong team management skills.
* Ability to read architectural/engineering drawings.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with ability to motivate others.
* Results-driven team player.
* Excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
