Clinical Nurse Specialist Role
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to fill a permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week or part-time contract with 18.75 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist mental health support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families in a person-centred, community-based, socially inclusive manner.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and services.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
* Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure optimal care outcomes.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
* Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and quality standards in mental health and intellectual disability care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by NMBI.
* Minimum 1 year's experience or an aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
* Successful completion or willingness to undertake a level 9 post-registration QQI national qualification relevant to the specialist area (Child and Adolescent Mental Health of Intellectual Disability).
* Continuous Professional Development relevant to the specialist area.
* Full clean driving licence and use of own car.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and effective caseload management skills.
