OverviewWe are now inviting applications for our Project Management Graduate Programme. Successful candidates will be placed on projects in Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe. The programme allows participants to take on responsibility on live projects and develop skills that will be vital to their future success. Under the guidance and mentorship of an experienced project manager, graduates will learn the fundamentals of how Dornan delivers a project, with structured placements in departments such as engineering, planning, quality, safety and commercial. Graduates will undertake formal training including people leadership, mechanical and electrical systems, construction safety, project lifecycle and contracts, digital tools, project financials, and cost control. This programme offers candidates the opportunity to build their experience, including working as an area owner in a live project, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, running internal project meetings, and participating in client interactions. After completion of the programme, participants will be able to lead their own project.
What we are looking for
Studying towards a Construction Management or Engineering Degree (Level 8).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
What happens next
Your application will be reviewed, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in November and December of 2025.
Offers will be issued in January and February of 2026, and following this you will be assigned to your business unit and mentor.
You will commence with Dornan from June 2026.
