Navan - Meath - Ireland

This role is based on our client site in Dunboyne, Co Meath

Responsible for executing the clients operational Quality & Compliance programs within the CBRE site team

* Lead / support initiatives and best practice activities in all areas of QHSE management and promote / maintain the behaviors and values
* Ensure the execution of key Site QHSE programs including Contractor Management, Permit To Work, and HRW work program within the CBRE Site Team
* Conduct periodic conformity evaluations of compliance
* Support Site Manager CBRE in regular and in-house communication regarding Quality, Safety & Health
* Provide input into relevant Site Service Level Agreements
* Manage client relationships at operational level
* Ensure site teams deliver consistently and compliantly in accordance with applicable Client/ CBRE process / standards
* Be the CBRE Site Team Liaison for implementation of Client Key Program Initiatives within the CBRE Site Team including the Quality System Improvement Program
* Responsible in cooperation with line managers for the procurement and application of safety-compliant work equipment
* Scheduling of and participation in Quality and EHS Gemba Walks
* Management of internal / external audit and statutory inspections
* Monthly capturing of Quality and EHS relevant metrics
* Accountable for co-ordinating / reviewing activities including the management of all areas of risk assessment, safe systems of work, incident reporting, fire management and individuals
* Ensure an operational risk portfolio is available and periodic reviews of such risks are scheduled
* Ensure appropriate day-to-day support and guidance to the team, supply partners and the client on the provision of guidance and practical expertise on Quality / EHS Operational Health and Safety standards
* Support the delivery of Client / CBRE training strategy
* Ensure CBRE processes and procedures are aligned with site requirements
* Support effective business communication through advice, review and direct contribution to Account / Site management and team meetings

Purpose Of Role

* They must be capable and willing to undertake additional soft service duties as the need/demand requires both at site level and in supporting regional CBRE organisation.
* The role requires an individual with a customer focused proactive attitude and technical strengths, combined with an ability to communicate effectively under constant pressure with a multitude of stakeholders
* Carry out any duties as required by the Customer Business Manager
* Ensure that the Security, Cleaning, Pest Control, Waste management, Laundry, service companies maintain legislative and regulatory accreditation and licensing for site

Activities Within Role

* Maintain regular contact with the Customer Business Manager; consult on key decisions and advice on incidents, escalation and complaints
* Responsible, with the MCL, for the management of contractors working under CBRE scope in areas including specific GMP equipment/areas and non GMP equipment/areas
* Ensure that all Risk Assessment, Safe Plan of Actions, and Method Statements are in place and are adhered to at the place of work
* Ensure quality systems are in place and report on quality directives and ensure active participation in internal and external audits
* Responsible for own and teams compliance to the site health and safety policies and procedures which may be a combination of client and CBRE
* Undertake training with CBRE team and contractors relating to EHS, GMP training and client policies and procedures
* The post holder will follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others. Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to management for prompt action.
* Recommend improved ways of working to achieve goal of continuous improvement and best practices.

Key Experience & Skills

* Strong experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry
* Experience in implementing / monitoring policy and process
* Practical application of auditing
* Monitoring and Analysis of management system performance
* Strong communication skills
* Able to work autonomously
* Previous experience in a customer facing role
* Practical hands on facilities experience
* Excellent IT skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* GAP Analysis
* Report writing
* Incident Investigation / Root Cause Analysis
* Health and Safety regulations, Quality systems including GMP

Qualifications

* University diploma / experience in a facilities related role
* NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
