The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced, and compassionate, with a strong understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and national social care policies. They will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills, as well as the ability to contribute to and evolve personalised care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, autism, and complex needs in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Working closely with colleagues to promote independence and social inclusion for adults in care.
Managing challenging behaviours and providing individualised support to meet the unique needs of each service user.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care Studies (or equivalent in Health/Social Care).
At least 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Strong understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and national social care policies.
