Job Description
Are you an experienced Hospital Chef? Join a healthcare facility in Dublin 7 and bring your culinary expertise to a fast‑paced, rewarding environment. This full‑time role is perfect for chefs with experience in hospital kitchens or large‑scale catering operations.
Your Role:
* Prepare and serve high‑quality, nutritious meals that meet patient dietary requirements.
* Lead or support daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and consistency.
* Mentor and guide kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
* Follow HACCP, cook‑chill, and food safety procedures to maintain the highest standards.
* Manage inventory, food storage, labelling, and waste control.
* Work closely with dietitians and healthcare teams to plan menus and adapt meals as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all HSE and health & safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified chef (QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent).
* Experience in hospital kitchens, healthcare catering, or high‑volume catering.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and cook‑chill procedures.
* Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
* Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
* Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
What We Offer:
* €20.29/hour, with double pay on Sundays & bank holidays.
* Full‑time, daytime hours (typically 7:00 am – 6:00 pm).
* Varied shifts Monday to Sunday to meet client needs.
