Catering Assistant – Limerick
We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Catering Assistant to join our team in the Limerick region for daytime work. This role is well suited to individuals with previous catering or food-service experience who are confident working independently while providing a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with food preparation as required
2. Operate the till, process transactions accurately, and provide efficient service
3. Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
4. Set up and maintain food service areas to a high standard
5. Ensure all food service areas, equipment, and work spaces are clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene regulations
6. Follow all health, safety, and HACCP procedures at all times
7. Work independently, managing tasks efficiently to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements for Catering Assistants
8. Previous experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar food-service role
9. Experience with till operation and customer-facing service
10. Coffee-making experience is desirable
11. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
12. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
(HACCP and Manual Handling certificates required; training can be facilitated)
13. Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
